Free VPN with no data cap: how TuxlerVPN Mobile Standard works

TuxlerVPN Mobile Standard is intended to make everyday VPN connectivity available without a paid subscription. You can install the Android app from Google Play and connect without creating a Tuxler username or password.

“No data cap” has a specific meaning here: Standard does not assign a monthly allowance that counts down as you use the service. It does not mean that the service has no operating rules or technical limits.

What the Standard plan includes

The published allocation is suitable for many lower-bandwidth activities, including messaging, email, maps, and ordinary web pages. Actual throughput can vary with the device, access network, selected gateway, congestion, and other conditions outside the app’s control.

Premium provides a higher published allocation of up to 15 Mbps download and 7.5 Mbps upload, plus priority email support. Google Play displays the current price, billing period, currency, taxes, and renewal terms before purchase; regional pricing may differ.

No monthly allowance is not the same as “unlimited”

We avoid using “unlimited VPN” as a standalone description because it can hide important qualifications. TuxlerVPN Mobile Standard currently has no monthly data allowance and no trial clock, but it has a stated speed allocation and remains subject to the rules that protect the service and its users.

This distinction makes the plan easier to understand:

• Data: there is no monthly gigabyte allowance shown in the app.
• Time: Standard is not presented as a time-limited trial.
• Performance: Standard has a stated speed allocation; real-world results vary.
• Access: no separate Tuxler account, email address, or password is required.
• Use: the Acceptable Use Policy and other current service terms apply.

How data use and retention differ

A monthly data allowance and a privacy-policy retention rule answer different questions.

The plan does not maintain a monthly allowance that a user consumes. Separately, the current Privacy Policy explains that bandwidth and other connection metadata used while routing an active session are not retained after that session closes. The app may still process the app-instance identifier, device information, session tokens, Google Play entitlement information, crash reports, and support communications for the purposes and periods described in that policy.

Account-free access therefore does not mean that the service processes no technical data. It means that the Android app does not require a traditional Tuxler account or email address to connect.

When Premium may be a better fit

Standard is the entry point for everyday use. Premium is intended for customers who want up to 15 Mbps download and 7.5 Mbps upload, plus priority email support. Premium is purchased through Google Play, and Tuxler does not receive full payment-card details from Google Play Billing.
