General
What is TuxlerVPN Mobile?
TuxlerVPN Mobile is an Android VPN application distributed exclusively through Google Play, offered as a free Standard tier and a paid Premium tier. It is operated as a separate business and shares no accounts, billing, or infrastructure with any other product. See the homepage for the feature comparison.
Is TuxlerVPN Mobile the same as the desktop version?
No. TuxlerVPN Mobile is a separate product, operated as a separate business.
Does purchasing the mobile app provide access to the desktop version?
No. The mobile and desktop products are independent businesses. A Premium subscription to TuxlerVPN Mobile (billed through Google Play) covers only the Android app and does not include access to, credit toward, or any entitlement on the desktop product. To use the desktop product, purchase it separately from its provider.
Does TuxlerVPN Mobile include residential IPs?
No. TuxlerVPN Mobile uses gateway servers we operate in multiple regions; your traffic exits to the public internet from one of those gateways. TuxlerVPN Mobile does not operate or resell residential IP infrastructure. See Privacy Policy §2.6 and Data Processing Overview.
Is my device used as a peer or relay for other users?
No, your device is never used that way. The app is client-only on every tier, and your device is never used as a server, peer, relay, or exit node. Source: Privacy Policy §2.6.
Do I need an account to use TuxlerVPN Mobile?
No, you do not. Neither the Standard (free) tier nor the Premium tier requires you to create an account, provide a name, provide an email address, provide a phone number, or provide any government identifier. Both tiers are identified to our backend by a randomly generated app-instance UUID. Premium adds a Google Play purchase token, used solely to verify entitlement against Google Play. Source: Privacy Policy §2.
Which platforms are supported?
Android only, via Google Play. TuxlerVPN Mobile does not support iOS or any non-Android platform. Source: EULA §1.
Where is TuxlerVPN Mobile based?
The data controller is Tuxler Digital Services Corp., incorporated in Panama. See the About page and Privacy Policy §13 for the full registered address.
Getting started
How easy is it to get started?
Install TuxlerVPN Mobile from Google Play, open the app, and tap Connect. No account, no email, no payment, and no setup wizard. Premium ($5.99/month) can be enabled from inside the app at any time. Step-by-step instructions are on the How to Use page.
How does TuxlerVPN Mobile ensure smooth performance?
The app uses WireGuard, a modern open-source VPN protocol with a small attack surface and well-reviewed cryptography. We operate gateways in multiple regions; the app offers a country and region picker so you can switch gateways at any time. Standard and Premium tiers connect at different speed caps; see the homepage pricing comparison. See Security Practices for the protocol details.

Privacy and logging
Do you log my browsing?
No, we do not. We do not log the websites you visit, your DNS queries, your originating IP address during a VPN session, or session timestamps after the session closes. Source: Privacy Policy §2.6, §8 and Logging & Retention Data.
What data do you collect?
The minimum required to operate the Service. The full list is in Privacy Policy §2 and summarised in Logging & Retention Data.
Do you sell my data?
No, we do not. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. See Privacy Policy §6 and the CCPA Notice.
Do you have my email address?
Only if you have written to [email protected]. The app does not collect or transmit your email address, not on installation, not on Premium signup, and not for in-app feedback or ratings. Google Play handles your Premium billing and does not pass your email to us. The only exception is inbound support correspondence: if you email us, we see the address you wrote from. Source: Privacy Policy §2.3, §2.8.
How do I delete my data?
The dedicated walkthrough is on the Delete Your Account page. In short: uninstall the app to destroy the local app-instance UUID, cancel any Premium subscription via Google Play, then email [email protected] with the subject Privacy Rights Request: Erasure to also purge any backend records. The full process is described on our Privacy Rights page and in Privacy Policy §11.
