TuxlerVPN Mobile uses WireGuard, a modern open-source VPN protocol designed around a compact codebase and contemporary cryptography.

TuxlerVPN Mobile uses WireGuard, whose compact design is well suited to mobile devices. While connected, TuxlerVPN Mobile uses battery power to encrypt and route network traffic. Actual battery use depends on signal strength, traffic volume, Android version, device settings, and network conditions.

WireGuard supports endpoint roaming when the underlying network changes. TuxlerVPN Mobile can therefore recover when you move between Wi-Fi and mobile data, although the connection may briefly pause or reconnect.

Actual continuity depends on Android, your device, the new network, and gateway availability.

Enable Android’s Always-on VPN setting for TuxlerVPN Mobile:

1. Open Android Settings.
2. Go to Network & internet → VPN. On Samsung devices, use Connections → More connection settings → VPN.
3. Tap the settings icon beside TuxlerVPN Mobile.
4. Enable Always-on VPN.

This allows Android to restore the VPN connection when needed. You can also enable Block connections without VPN, but Android will then block internet access whenever TuxlerVPN Mobile cannot connect.

First join the Wi-Fi network and complete any sign-in page it displays. Then open TuxlerVPN Mobile and connect. If the network restricts VPN traffic, switch to mobile data or another available Wi-Fi network.

Android normally permits one active VPN service. Disconnect any other VPN and make sure Always-on VPN is assigned to TuxlerVPN Mobile before connecting.

TuxlerVPN Mobile can use Android’s native VPN security controls. Open Android’s VPN settings, select TuxlerVPN Mobile, and enable Always-on VPN. You may also enable Block connections without VPN for kill-switch-equivalent protection.

When blocking is enabled, Android may prevent all internet access if TuxlerVPN Mobile cannot connect. Public Wi-Fi sign-in pages may also require you to disable the setting temporarily.

TuxlerVPN Mobile Standard is free and has a published allocation of approximately 1 Mbps download and 0.5 Mbps upload.

TuxlerVPN Mobile Premium provides a higher published allocation of up to 15 Mbps download and 7.5 Mbps upload, together with priority email support. Actual speeds are not guaranteed and depend on network conditions and gateway availability.

Google Play displays the subscription periods currently available for TuxlerVPN Mobile Premium before purchase. Availability and regional pricing may change, so the Google Play checkout screen is authoritative.

Google Play applies regional pricing, currencies, and applicable taxes. The exact price and billing period are displayed before you subscribe and are based on your Google Play country profile—not your selected VPN gateway.

Sign in to the new Android phone using the same Google Play account used for the original purchase. Install TuxlerVPN Mobile, open the Premium screen, and select Restore Your Purchase.

If Google Play confirms an active subscription, TuxlerVPN Mobile Premium will be reactivated.

Open Google Play, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select TuxlerVPN Mobile, and choose Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are governed by the TuxlerVPN Mobile Refund & Payment Policy and Google Play’s billing rules.

Within 48 hours of purchase, you may request a refund directly through Google Play. From 48 hours through the applicable 30-day guarantee period, use the TuxlerVPN Mobile contact form and include your Google Play order ID.

TuxlerVPN Mobile does not retain the websites you visit, DNS queries, or the contents of your VPN traffic.

Connection metadata needed during an active session—including session timestamps, originating IP address, bandwidth use, and selected gateway—is processed during the session and discarded when the session closes. Operational, billing, diagnostic, and support records have separate retention periods disclosed in the Privacy Policy.

TuxlerVPN Mobile processes the information required to operate and secure the service. This can include an app-instance identifier, device compatibility information, Android and app versions, Play Integrity and session tokens, active-session connection metadata, and Google Play purchase information for Premium users.

No. TuxlerVPN Mobile does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

No. Google Play does not provide TuxlerVPN Mobile with your Google password or payment-card details. TuxlerVPN Mobile receives the purchase token and related payload required for entitlement verification, subscription support, refunds, abuse prevention, and legally required records.

TuxlerVPN Mobile sees your email address only if you contact support using email.

Uninstalling TuxlerVPN Mobile removes its locally stored app-instance identifier. Cancel any active Premium subscription separately through Google Play.
