When you’d actually use it

Three moments TuxlerVPN is worth turning on

No fear marketing. Just the times an Android VPN is genuinely useful — and when you can leave it off.

  • Warm-amber café table at evening, ceramic mug on saucer with pendant-light bokeh in the background — the kind of public Wi-Fi setting this scenario describes.

The café and the hotel Wi-Fi

You’re on a network you don’t own and don’t trust. With TuxlerVPN on, your traffic to the wider internet travels inside an encrypted WireGuard tunnel, so the local Wi-Fi sees ciphertext to our gateway instead of the sites and apps you use.

  • Warm-lit hotel-room desk at evening with a folded paper map, a passport-sized card, and a warm tungsten lamp — implying travel and route flexibility.

Travelling, or your home connection is having a bad day

When the local route to a service is congested or unreliable, picking a different gateway can give you a more stable connection without changing networks.

  • Soft warm-amber interior wall lit by a tungsten lamp, with a chair edge and a leafy houseplant — privacy as restraint, not surveillance.

You’d rather your carrier or Wi-Fi didn’t see every domain you visit

Without a VPN, your carrier or local network operator can typically see the domains your device looks up and connects to. TuxlerVPN routes DNS queries through the tunnel along with the rest of your traffic, so that visibility moves to our gateway — useful even when nothing is “wrong.”

A VPN isn’t a substitute for keeping your device and apps up to date. On a home network you trust, you may not need it running all the time. TuxlerVPN is built to be there when the situation calls for it — Free with no account or email required, Premium when you want the higher-speed tier.

How TuxlerVPN Mobile works

A transparent look at how your internet traffic travels when TuxlerVPN Mobile is active

TuxlerVPN connection flow Your device sends an encrypted request through the TuxlerVPN gateway, which decrypts and forwards it onward to the destination website. The website's response travels back along the same path. The website sees the gateway's address, not yours.

Built for reliability

Real strengths, built into the Android app

Always-on VPN support

Works with Android’s always-on VPN setting; reconnects automatically when your device reboots or the network changes.

Network-resilient reconnects

If your phone switches between Wi-Fi and mobile data, TuxlerVPN Mobile re-establishes the tunnel automatically without manual intervention.

Per-country server picker

Choose from VPN gateway servers in multiple countries; the app routes to the closest available gateway in the country you pick.

In-app feedback

Send feedback or ratings directly from inside the app; we review every message.

Reference values. Actual throughput varies with server, network, and distance.

  1. Do I need to create an account?

No. The Free tier doesn’t ask for an email, a phone number, or a sign-up of any kind. Premium is billed through Google Play; Google Play Billing does not pass your email, password, or payment-card details to us — we receive only a purchase token used to verify your subscription is active.

  2. What’s it like to actually use?

Standard Android VPN service using the WireGuard protocol. Reconnects automatically when you switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or after a reboot. Speed tiers are shown above; throughput varies with server, network, and distance to the gateway.

Backed by → Security and reliability practices
  3. What does TuxlerVPN keep about what I do?

The contents of your VPN traffic, the websites you visit, and DNS queries themselves are never recorded. Connection metadata (session timestamps, originating IP, bandwidth, gateway selected) is held only while the tunnel is open and is discarded on disconnect. DNS queries are routed through the VPN tunnel along with the rest of your traffic.

  4. Can I cancel Premium, and is there a refund?

Premium is $5.99 / month on Google Play (regional pricing applies). Cancel any time from Play Store → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. New Premium subscriptions are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee: within 48 hours of purchase you can request an automatic refund inside the Play Store; from 48 hours up to 30 days, email [email protected] with your Google Play order ID and we’ll process it through the Google Play Console. Refund eligibility, including limits on repeat refunds, is set out in the Refund & Payment Policy.

Free stays free — no upsell modals, no time-limited trial that quietly converts. If those four answers held up, it’s on Google Play whenever you’re ready.
