User Data Governance
Delete your account and data
TuxlerVPN Mobile does not maintain user accounts in the traditional sense. There is no email, password, name, or phone number associated with your use of the app. This page describes how to delete the limited data we do hold and what happens after deletion. The authoritative source is the Privacy Policy, in particular sections 2 and 11.
What we hold about you
For users who have only used the app:
- An app-instance UUID, randomly generated when you first launched the app and stored on your device. Sent to our backend (
apivpn.tuxlervpn.app) when the app fetches a VPN configuration so we can deliver the service. - For Premium subscribers, a Google Play purchase token used to verify entitlement against Google Play. We do not store your email, name, address, or any payment details, since Google handles all billing.
- Crash reports and diagnostics keyed only to the app-instance UUID. These auto-expire on the schedule documented in the Logging & Retention Data page.
For users who have contacted support:
- The email address you wrote from, the content of your message, and any information you chose to share. This is the only situation in which TuxlerVPN Mobile ever sees an email address tied to you.
That is the full list. We do not have a name, billing address, phone number, government identifier, biometric data, or any other personal information about you.
Standard (free) users
You have no account to delete. To remove all data we have about you:
- Uninstall the TuxlerVPN Mobile app. This destroys the app-instance UUID stored on your device.
- (Optional) Email
[email protected]with subject “Account Deletion Request” if you want us to also purge any backend artifacts (entitlement records, crash reports) that may still reference your previous UUID.
We confirm completion within 30 days.
Premium subscribers
To stop billing and revoke entitlement, cancel your subscription through Google Play:
- Open the Google Play app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap TuxlerVPN Mobile, then Cancel subscription.
Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. Afterwards your installation reverts to the Standard tier with no further data collection.
To also remove the limited backend records associated with your subscription (the purchase-token entitlement record and any related crash reports), email [email protected] with subject “Account Deletion Request” after cancelling. Include your Google Play order ID so we can match the entitlement record. We confirm within 30 days.
If you have contacted support
To delete the email correspondence we hold from you, email [email protected] with subject “Support-Correspondence Deletion” from the same address. We delete the correspondence (and any associated tickets held by our customer-support processor) within 30 days.
What we retain
The only data that may persist past your deletion request:
- Tax and accounting records associated with your subscription (for example, invoice metadata for the period you were a paid subscriber), retained for the period required by Panama tax law.
- Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you (no UUID, no IP).
How we confirm deletion
We respond to every deletion request by email, to the same address you emailed from, once the deletion is complete. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 days, please re-send your request.
